About:Chinese Embassy in Germany

Hello,
I am an American citizen with a german work VISA living in Dresden, I need to travel to Yixang area for a job interview. Is Berlin the best solution to apply for a VISA?

Thank you for your response,which type of visa should I apply for? I think a tourist visa since its not for employment but only an interview.

Yes, you have to travel to Berlin to apply for a China visa because Dresden, Sachsen(Saxony) is under the consular jurisdiction of China embassy in Berlin.

You can apply for a tourist visa to China which is issued to aliens who come to China for sightseeing, family visit and personal affairs, take a job interview is included as personal affairs.
