We are planning to go to Harbin on the first day of Spring Festival in February 2011. Will all the restaurants be closed and no taxis will be available? We are hopig to visit the ice sculptures etc. Are all the attractions going to be open? We plan to be there for the first 5 days of the Spring Festival from Feb 4 to Feb 9 2011. Is it going to be very crowded? What is the average temperature there?

THanks

Well, depending where you are staying. Taxi is really scarce during the Spring Festival. I have been homw for a week. Currently day temp is about -10 to -15 and night will be around -20 to -25. Add the windchill factor and it will be colder. It has not been snowing for more than a week so roads aint that slippery.
