I'm a filipino, my passport is about to expire on March 2011 and my working visa is also expiring on end of February 2011. I will be leaving China for a one month vacation to Philippines, while in the Philippines I have to get a new Passport by December, If I have my new Passport, when coming back to China by January 2011 does my visa on my old passport still be valid to enter China.

You have already changed your work visa to a residence permit after enter China, right? and it will expire next Feb? if yes, you can use this resident permit to re-enter China, it works as a multi entry visa, so just take along with you both the new and the old passport.
