Can I pay for my tour with the VISA credit card?
You say that I can.
But in paragraph "payments" I read ".... should be paid by check or cable transfer..."?
Why dont you mention about credit card???

I had tours with TravelChinaGuide last year and I paid by my visa card. There should be no problem for you.
