The invitation sent by my chinese friend is not purposely for a business visit, and it still has the his company letter head and it s correctly signed by him but the visit is just for a celebration of the christmas rvr at his home, do i still need to apply for the business f visa?

Again the invitation has his company letter head, so is it probably from a authorized chinese organisation, and it was written and signed by my chinese friend.
