About:Chinese Consulate in San Francisco

Hi, My wifw and I are both U.S. citizens and we are planning to apply for multiple entry visa to China for a short visit to Hong Kong prior to joining a cruise sailing from Beijing in May, 2011. We appreciate your help to our following questions.

. Can we get the visa several months ahead of the visit to facilitate our shopping for the best available airfares?
. I plan to come to the SF visa office for the visa application. Does my wife also need to come?
. Is there any health documents such as vaccination and immunization records required to visit China?

Thank you for your help.

George A. Lo

Please apply for a China visa about one month in advance of your intended date of entry into China, and do not apply 3 months earlier than your intended date of entry into China.

You can apply for China visa for you and your wife, your wife doesn't need to come together

there is not any heath documents such as vaccination and immunization records for USA nationals to China.
