About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

When applying for Visa, does the person applying have to come personally to hand over and collect, or can the documents be sent via a 3rd party, also is there a interview ?
if applying from maldives, does the person have to come here to apply and interview or can he/she apply through a travel agent here in Sri Lanka !! thank you

The documents can be sent through a third party, applicants don't need to come to the embassy in person, however, if there is an interview, the applicant should come in person, please don't worry, almost nobody is asked to take an interview for application. He/she can apply for China visa through a travel agency in Sri Lanka.
