About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Hi, I applied for a visa to China. It is my first time visiting there for a holiday. I am staying in HK & had planned to go to Guangdong, Shenzhen and Macao on separate occasions. The Visa Centre refused me a multi entry pass and only gave me a dual one. I was told that first time visitors are only allowed to apply for a dual or single entry visa and not a multi one. I could not find this information written on the Visa website. Is this really true or not? would really appreciate your advice. many thanks!

It is really true, generally speaking, first time applicants can't get a multiple-entry tourist visa if you don't have a immediate relative living in China or own a house in China. In addition, it is advisable to read China Tour Packages(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/tour/default.htm) to arrange your trip in Hk, Guangdong, Shenzhen and Macau.
