About:Chinese Embassy in Pakistan

I should be grateful if you would please help clarify the position in relation to tourist visas. I understand from the website that one needs to register/organise a tour with a tour operator and not less than 5 other travellers.

I am hoping to arrage a private tour for my immediate family (2 adults and a 2 year old). Although the tour operator is happy to oblige (for an added cost) I wasnt able to ascertain whether this will be acceptable to the Chinese consulate.

Any tips on this gratefully received.

No, you have to join a tour to visit China. The Chinese embassy in Pakistan only issue group tourist visa (at least 5 people) at present.
