I have been told that we can only book trains in China 14days before we are due to travel is that correct We are coming to China arriving in Shenzhen on the 7th of March and wish to travel to Shanghai on the 10th of March then to Beijing on the 14th of March and then back to Shenzhen on the 21st of March . There would be 4 adults and we would all want soft sleepers so please get back to me Regards Jean Chesters

You could book the tickets online many days in advance. And if buying the ticket at train stations, you can purchase it about 10 days prior to the departure date. About the train schedule, you can check on the page.
