About:China Silk

Please advise me on the most suitable silk to use for fine quality crushable scarf. When not being used scarf/ shawl it may be crushed into a small silk bag but able to be used once retrieved from small bag. Wrinkles in fabric may be a feature of the scarf/ shawl.Should this be made from pure silk, silk chiffon or other? Could it also be washable?

Silk can be washed, by mild lotion. Usually, we use thin silk/chiffon to make scarf, or satin. It will be some thick enough to make a bag, I think. If you make one with silk, there much be thick fabric inside the silk.
