About:China Transit Visa

Hello everyone!

I am Vietnamese studying in South Korea, I intend to use Cathay Pacific (hongkong airways) for my visit in Vietnam. And, It will be stops in Hongkong following:

1. Depart: Seoul->Hokong->Vietnam (3 hour-break stop)
2. Return:Vietnam->Hongkong->Seoul (around 10 hr-break stop)

At the first of itinerary, I do not need to go out of the airport. However, on return trip I want to visit around. So, I must apply for Hongkong transit visa, right?

I wonder that how can I make it in Korea? and how much visa fee?

Thanks,

If anyone know it, please reply me.

Yes, you need to apply for a transit visa to enter HK. You can submit your visa application to Chinese embassy or consulate in Korea according to the consular district where you reside. The detail requirements is what you need to find from the official web of HK Immigration Department. Or check Chinese embassy in Korea for more visa issues.
