i want to catch the bullet train from beijing to tianjin.

Question

I want to catch the bullet train from Beijing to Tianjin. Is it a good idea to buy the ticket in advance or can you just show up at the station and get a train? I know the trains run every 10 minutes but there's probably a lot of people waiting for a train. Also is it worth traveling in luxury class as I heard the seating can be rather cramped in the other classes.

Since the national holiday is over, I think there won't be crowded scene at the railway station, probably. So, I think it won't be hard for you to get a train ticket upon arrival at the railway station. If you want a better riding experience, a luxury class is worth traveling.
