About:Jiuzhaigou National Park

I have heart thata after National Chinese day, Oct 8,2010 onwards, the road betweem Pingwu -Jiuzhaigou will be under construction. Is it right? Is it possible to go by car back from Jiu to Chuansi - Hongyuan? Thank you.

It is likely that the roads will be open to buses on odd numbered days so you should be able to go to Jiuzhaigou on the 5th, 7th, 9th etc. Then on the way back you should be able to travel on the 10th, 12th, 14th etc. You should be a little bit flexible with your travel dates at that time. The alternative is to travel via Hongyuan and Ma Er Kang or via Guangyuan - Mianyang - Chengdu.
