About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Hi,

I'm a bit confused now after reading the posts. I'm currently in CHINA and hold a double entry tourist visa. I've been to hong kong once already which means I'm down to my last one. We are looking to go to Korea next month, but I need to make sure that I will be able to get a new visa to be able to return back to china where my family is.
I don't know what this alien registration card you are referring to, but we only intend on staying in korea for 4-5 days. Will I be able to get a new visa to china through either the consulate or the tourist agencies in Korea?

Thanks

You can't get a new L visa to China through the embassy or tourist agencies in Korea, the Alien Registration Card is issued to foreigners who work or study or live in Korea, the China embassy in Seoul asks applicants other than Korean to provide the ARC valid for at least 6 months. I feel that this rule is unreasonable, however, it exists. Please read my experience in my reply to Mr. P
