Walk? It should be several years. Except Marco Polo, emissaries sent by the emperor to Central and West Asia in old times, no one in modern times finish the entire road by walking.14

They wouldn't "walk" all the way , instead the merchants would meet half way and make a deal... sometimes a middle man would settle the deal . It would take several years to walk it...and that's if your not ambushed by bandits7
