About:Chinese Consulate in Sydney

Hi,

I'm a Hong Kong international student in Sydney, and I have accidentally misplaced my BNO passport and Hong Kong ID card. Would it be possible to get a replacement for the Hong Kong ID card at the Chinese Consulate in Sydney (I was told by the British Consulate that I will need to have that replaced before I can apply for a replacement passport)?

Thank you.

You can apply for the replacement for the Hong Kong ID Card from China Cosnulate in Sydney, but you need to provide some documents to prove your Hong Kong resident status.
