About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

That new Visa rule to get a Chinese visa in Korea is ridiculous. I bought a plane ticket a few weeks ago and was denied a visa last week due to that new rule. What is the point of such a rule?

As I know, Chinese embassy in most countries do not issue visa to temporary visitors, such as in Thailand, UK, Japan, etc. They require their residence permit valid for next 6 months and their valid visa to the country. Maybe becauses of the Asian Games, or so.
