About:Shaolin Temple

hello,

can anybody tell me as to how to go from Xian to Dengfeng? we are travelling as a group and will be going to Xian for a couple of days and are planing to visiting the Shaolin temple on our way back to Beijing. How far is it from Xian? which station to we come down at and take the bus? how far is the temple from the city centre? Thanks!

If you want to go to Shaolin temple, not necessary to get to Dengfeng and no direct bus and trains either. So, you should take the G trains from Xian Railway Station to Zhengzhou, only two hours. Find Zhengzhou Passenger Transport Center opposite Zhengzhou Railway Station. There are buses to Shaolin Temple directly from 7:20 to 11:30, totally ten buses during this period. Two hours to Shaolin.
