About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

I am an American living in Japan and have a Foreign Resident's Visa. The Foreign Resident's Card is less than a month old, since I have recently moved to Tokyo. I am planning a trip to China in October. Is there going to be a problem getting a visa with a brand new resident's visa?

Thank you,

Rebekah Madrid
