About:China Tourist Visa

Hello,
Myself and my girlfriend live in Shanghai. We have Residence forms from the local police stations. I have a work visa. She has numerous tourist visas in her passport from China. We are going to take the train to Hanoi over the break and needed to pick her up another tourist visa. Is this possible? Does she need proof of a plane ticket departing China? Or insurance or anything else?
Thank you,
Brian

She can't get a China tourist visa in Hanoi, the China embassy in Hanoi refuses to issue China visa to applicants of temporary visitors. You can go to Ho Chi Minh City to have a try. If her application is refused in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, then she has to go back to France or Hk to apply for China visa, the visa regulations for French citizens become strict since May 1, 2010.
