hi, yunnan experts. I am heading to Kunming for some short study purpose in this coming October, any recommendations for things to do and about the climate in October-Jan? Any notes i need to take? How was the cold weather in Kunming, will it be very cold? Any recommended spots that i must pay a visit in this periods? Is it any bus/ train/ domestic flight, if i fly to Guilin / Guangzhou then only fly to kunming?  Thank you very much~

Hi Grace, bus, flight and train are all available to travel from Guangzhou or Guilin to Kunming. The climate in Kunming will not be very cold, since it has the fame of Spring City in China. You can visit Dali city, and there are many other attractions around Kunming.

Thank you very much for your info. It will be useful for me.my family planning to have a short china trip in this coming december. I hope can get some helps or suggestions from you.They plan to fly to Guilin / Guangzhou first, instead of direct fly to Kunming, Yunnan.1. In between Guilin / guangzhou which place will be more suitable to visit in this early of December?2. Any GAO TIE (express train) service from the place mentioned above to Kunming?3. If we change itinerary and just focus on Kunming,Dali,Li Jiang and etc during the 7-8days trip, will it be better than the previous itinerary?Thank you very much~
