About:Huangshan Mountain

Hello!

We are a family of 4 adults and a 2.5 year old. We will stay in 屯溪 1 night, then head up the next day and stay at 北海宾馆 over night. Then next morning after watching sunrise we plan to make our way leisurely to the western steps cable car to head down. Then we need to go to qiandao lake for that night. Could you please tell us the transportation we need to take? especially from huangshan to qiandao lake?

No bus and ferry at night and even afternoon from Huangshan to Qiandao Lake. There is a direct bus from Tangkou to Qiandao Lake direct at 7am in the morning, but you may miss it. The other way is to get to Shendu Ferry Wharf, Shexian County to catch the ferry at 11:40am. The ferry take about 5 hours to Qiandao Lake. You will see the lake on the ferry and do not have to buy ticket to see the lake when you arrive there. Or you can hire a van from Huangshan to Qiandao Lake.
