Mr. Manny,Thanks for the information on Meili in NOvember. Do you know of other mountain areas in Yunnan in late Fall (end of October or middle November) that would be good for camping, perhaps at more southern location?How about LaoJun Shan? If it is 15 degrees daytime (high) that is ok, and no more than 5 (low) at night it is ok.Or, any other places in Yunnan for outdoor camping at that time?

Laojun Shan is fine. There is another famous snow mountain, the Jade Dragon Mountain in Lijiang. You can think about this too. The main cableway is closed for renovation and reopen in October 30. No problem for climbing the mountain. NOt very cold and it may rain in Oct. It will be cold if it rains.
