Hi all,Thanks to all for the information on shijiazhuang. I have also researched on the internet and found few interesting topics too on living in Shijiazhuang. My husband is soon with an offer to work in shijiazhuang area and your discussions are well receptive.I would like to know if there are good english nursery schools for my 3 ur old son and day care after the school. also, we are well conversant in english, can we manage living in shijiazhuang with just enlgish though we might slowly start learning few managing words in mandarin.I appreciate your concerns on this issue.Thank you all.

You can send your son to Shijiazhuang Foreign Language School, it has a nursury school, primary school as well as middle school. this is the website of that school:http://www.sjzfls.com/en/about.htmI think you can find a local Chinese teacher for you and your husband, or you can find a course in universities that teach Chinese, most of them have such courses.Good Luck!

I'm not aware of any foreign nursery schools.  As far as I know, your son would either need to be in a Chinese nursery or perhaps like Mr. Collin remarks, the one he suggested (I'm not aware of that one).  He is right, it will be very easy to find a Chinese teacher and learn Chinese.
