About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

I will fly to Malaysia from USA with family in January 2011 and plan to transit either in Guangzhou or Hong Kong for around 10 hours because I want to do a city tour with family. Never been in either city before. Also hoping to buy cheap electronics like the iPad clone or netbook for personal use.

1. Can anyone tell me is it cheaper to find electronics like these in HK or Guangzhou? 2. Where can I go to buy these and how do I get there inexpensively?
3. Does the aiport city tours include shopping places that may have what I'm looking for?
4. Is the price fixed or still negotiable with the sellers?
5. Will I have to pay any tax at airport when I leave?
6. Since I will have about 6 to 8 hours only to do sight seeing with family (wife 2yr old and 4 yr old boys), where should I go if I don't take the airport city tour?

Thank you in advance.

1. Definitely Hong Kong, you can go to Apliu Street at Sham Shui Po for that.
3. You can communicate with the tour agency and ask them to add it for you, or you can go there yourself.
4. Most of the prices are negotiable if you are going to buy in stores, not department stores or large shopping mall.
5. If you buy those things in Hong Kong, you'll not need to pay tax since Hong Kong is a tax free port, if in Guangzhou, I'm not sure about it.
6. If in Hong Kong, you can go to Disneyland, if in Guangzhou, you can bring them to Baiyun Moutain.
