About:Hangzhou Weather

I shall be in Hangzhou about 30 July and have a day at my disposal. Plan to cover the West Lake and Lingyin Pagoda and shop for some tea. Would it be too hectic? Any suggestions on the itinerary.

You arrangement is fine, you can tour around westlake, or you can take the westlake cruise, and then go to Lingyin Pagoda, finally go to some department stores and buy some tea, don't buy tea in some villages, although it is said they have better tea, it is easy to be cheated there, go to some large stores and the quality is assured.
