About:Guangzhou Travel Guide

I will be going to Guangzhou on December 2010, what are the recommended affordable hotels nearby and what are the prices. I have ten hour to spare and go around china, what are the recommended places?

Is it possible, to go to hongkong within that 10 hr period and back to Guangzhou Airport?

Yes it is posible to go and back to Hongkong.
From Airport to railwaystation it takes 40 minut,
From railway station to shenzhen 70 minuts
wait in line for ticket ,wait for train 20 minut.
then from shenzhen lou hu train station to Lou wu (where you cross the border and can take a metro) 5 mnuts.
then. except cosom chacked...then go to metro to hong kong 10 minuts,now you are at hongkong,allready passed the border ;to the down town it takes about 20-30 minuts....coming back also same time.
I you deside to stay in guangzhou at that day. i recommend you train station area,it is really good place for shopping...
