About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

Hello, I am a Canadian citizen who has a 10 hour stopover in Hong Kong in October. I would like to be able to visit the city for a few hours. Do I need a visa and if so can it be obtained at the airport or do I need to visit the Chinese embassy in Canada before I leave?
Thanks!

You don't need a visa to Hong Kong for the stopver, Canada nationals are exempt from a visa to Hong Kong for up to 90 days.
