Dear Sir / Mam, I aged 30 years. I have a friend in  China. I want to visit him in 1st week of November' 10 for 5 - 7 days.I dont have any other reason for the visit, like study or job or resident. We are just aimed to meet each other. Please guide me what are the requiremnts for the permit. And How much will it cost (apart my living expenses and flight)Also Which kind of visa is needed and how many days it required for this complete process. And when should I apply for the permit.Also tell me any other relevant information, that i missed out!ThanksManoj

You can apply for a tourist visa to China. The needed documents are as follows:1. Application form:2. Applicant's passport valid for at least six months with at least 2 blank visa pages. 3. One recent passport size photograph.4. One Passport photocopy.5. Photocopy of a confirmed return air ticket6. You may be requested to supply proof of travel expenses.7. Covering letter from applicant's company or employer addressed to the visa office. Fee for a single entry visa is INR 1,000. and the general processing time is 4 working days. You can apply now or any time before Nov this year.
