About:China Visa

Should I change my L visa to F visa fisrt before going to Hong Kong?

Hello
I'm going to Hong Kong with all the documents required for getting z visa in order to work as an a teacher in china, i'm holding L visa now, someone told me that only F visa can be changed to z visa while L visa is rejected.
should i change my L visa to F visa fisrt before going to Hong Kong?
please help if you are sure of the information

Mr.Yasser, do you stay in Mainland China now? you come to China on a L visa and find a job, then go to Hk to apply for a China work visa. If my guess is right, you don't need to change your L visa into F visa before going to Hong Kong, if all required documents for Z visa are prepared, you can get a work visa in Hong Kong. Now, it is hard to change your L visa into F visa within Mainland China.

First thanks for your reply but It still not clear to me; here is the details
I'm working in china for 4 years, i went back to my country last winter holiday on residence permit made by z visa from homg kong, a stayed in my country about 2 months with residence permit. now i came back to china with the valid residence permit i'm in the mainland in china (about 4 month now since i came back to china), but last 2 weeks the school forgot to renew my residence permit on time so i over stayed my visa then i had to pay a fine and got an L visa in the public security office in zhejiang where i stay now.
Now the school gave me all the required documents with my L visa; but someone told me that the rules in china change very often and there is a new law reject the L visa in Hong kong even you have all the documents required. it should be F visa (they said)
i really don't know and i called the embassy in hk many times but no answer,
please answer me if u are sure, or if any other people are sure..
thanks a lot
