About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

Hello,
I have a Z (work) visa that became valid on October 5, 2009 (when I entered China after a vacation in South Korea). I want to book a holiday in Yunnan province for the last few days of this visa, but have recently been informed that I was bumped from the October 3 flight I had booked, and the next available is October 6. I'm only very half-heartedly considering this, but what is the penalty for overstaying a work visa for one day?

Thank you,
Angela

The penalty is 500 RMB per day for overstaying, but it doesn't matter, please apologize for your fault, maybe you won't be fined.
