About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Hello everyone!
I will be moving to Korea in a few weeks and will be teaching for a year. I definitely want to go to China while I am in Asia. Reading all these comments have gotten me confused. Should I just pay for a visa while I am still in the US so I can avoid the different changing rules?

Mr.Ellie, if you will teach in Korea for 1 year, you can get an Alien Registration Card valid for 1 year in Korea. Then you don't have problem for China visa application in Korea.

Now If you apply for China visa in USA, and get a single-entry L visa valid for 3 months, you have to use it to enter China during its validity, otherwise, it expires before you use it.

Why don't you get the 1 year multiple entry visa in the USA? It's the same price! All are $140 now - except for group rates!
