About:China Southern Airlines

I have a Canadian passport with a single-entry 6-month visa (for study in China). If I wish to travel to travel to Taiwan for a short visit, do I need a double-entry visa? If so, how does one obtain this? Will I need to change my visa in Canada or China? Thank you.

Yes, if you go back to China mainland after visiting Taiwan, you need a double entry visa. You could consult China Embassy in mainland for details before going to Taiwan. About the visa types and details, you can refer to the page: https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa/entry.htm
