About:Chinese Consulate in Perth

My Husband is working in Qatar at present and is due to meet me in China to depart on a 13 night cruise.
I have been granted a Multi entry Visa for China, due to our cruise calling into Japan, Korea and Taiwan, including Shanghai, departing from Tianjin and arriving back to Hong Kong.
When my Husband applied for his visa in Qatar, they would only give him a single entry visa. He showed them his itinery for the cruise, but they said they were unable to give him a multi entry because his permanent residency for Qatar has not yet come through. The Travel company told me yesterday unless he gets a multi entry visa he will not be able to board the cruise ship departing on 4th September 2010.

Is there something we can do when we arrive in Hong Kong 1 week prior to our departure. Will he be able to get a multi entry visa issued there.

Please help this is now urgent.

regards
Margaret

Mrs.Garden, I have to say you can have a try, no one can assure you that your husband can get a multi-entry visa there in Hong Kong since China had tightened their policy to issue visa during Expo days and Asian games.
