About:Chinese Consulate in Melbourne

hello can you please help me my partner and l want to move to Beijing to live for a year,we have 3 kids and want then to also attend school over there.We have no jobs lined up yet but will find one when we move over there. What visa can we aplly for?

Yes, you and your wife may apply for a L tourist visa to come to China,then Change it to the Z visa. THen you can live in beijing for one year.Your L visa can be extended twice. So you have time to find a job and convert your L visa to Z visa.
