I will travel to Guangzhou in March 2011 next year for 5 days. Could someone suggest and advise me any budget hotels there. I am looking for the hotel, which is near to the shopping centres and public transportation stations.How to go there (to the hotel) from Baiyun airport? Besides that, what are other interesting places that we must visit in Guangzhou and how to go to the places? Which is the best and the cheapest place for shopping (electronic devices- h.p and etc)? In Guangzhou, Shenzen, HK or Macao? What is the most economic and the best way to travel from Guangzhou - Shenzen - HK - Macao and lastly back to Guangzhou? To re-enter Guangzhou from HK or Macao, do I need another visa? If yes, so how to get the visa? Where can I change my Ringgit Malaysia to CNY,MOD or HKD in Guangzhou? TQ 4 ur help.

Hi,  I suggest you go to the V8 Zhan Qian Lu Hotel, it is very close to Guangzhou Railway Station, this place can be reached by taking airport shuttle bus from Baiyun Airport. And there are several wholesale markets around here including the Baima Clothes Market. The place for electronics, I think the best place is Huaqiang Bei in Shenzhen, it gathered many electronics products sellers, but you have to bargain with them and try not to be cheated. Travel from Guangzhou to Shenzhen, you can take train or bus, from Shenzhen to Hongkong, go to Luo Hu Boarder, Pass the Customs and take East Rail Line to Downtown Hong Kong. From Hong Kong to Macau, go to China Ferry Terminal or Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal and take ferry to Macau. When getting back to Guangzhou,you should apply for a double or multi entry visa to getting back to Guangzhou from Hong Kong. You can change money in Guangzhou through Bank of China and some other banks.

hi,wellcome to china.area`s aound railway station is good for shopping and for transportations and food.for the electronic products you choose shenzhen is better.for your travel plan;i think you start from macao is better.from macao-guangzhou.from guangzhou to shenzhen .from shenzhen to hong kong,is better,also it is same ,you start from macao then guangzhou,then shenzhen,then hongkong.for the transportation. from macao to guangzhou take a bus is better,from guangzhou to shenzhen you can take a train.from shenzhen to hongkong als can take train.
