About:Wild Great Wall in Beijing

We are planing on visiting The Great Wall in November 2010 and taken the public bus there (no 919). Do you pay the tickets in advance or just before entering the bus? And how do I get the public transportation IC card?

The public transportation IC card can be bought in subway stations and big bus terminus. So, find the nearest subway station to get one. You can just get on the bus 919, take a seat and the ticket seller will walk to you. Give you a ticket and you should pay 12RMB. If you use a card, it is 60 percent discount off, 4.8RMB only. The seller holds a machine to read and charge (the card).
