About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

I have taught in Seoul for two years. My contract, as well as my alien card, expires on October 1. My friend and I want to leave and travel in China for one month. We have a valid US passport. What can we do about the new directive concerning the visa application?

I am American living in Korea. I'm only 10 days short of a 6 month mark for obtaining a Chinese visa. Will the ten days difference prevent me from obtaining the visa?
I plan on going next month. Is there a way that I will still be able to get the visa?
I don't want to purchase a ticket and then apply for the visa knowing that I can't enter the country because of the new requirements

Ms.Kathy, please don't worry! the China Consulate in Busan has not applied the new rule, you can submit your application to the Seoul Office of Kangsan travel, which will apply for China visa for you through China Consulate in Busan. please read teh previous questiones and answers, then you will relax, many applicants in the same situation get a China visa in South Korea.

Now, your alien registration card is valid for less than 6 months. You have 2 choices,
first, send your passport and visa application form to USA, ask your friend or relatives to apply for you, then send back to Korea.

second, apply for China visa through the travel agencies designated by the Consulate-General of China in Busan, which has not applied the new rule.
