About:Hangzhou Travel

My plan for next year is as below:

1. Ningbo >train> Hangzhou train station >taxi> Hangzhou Airport >air> Malaysia
Proposed date: 24th JAN 2010

2. Malaysia >air> Hangzhou Airport >taxi> Hangzhou Train station >train> Ningbo
Proposed date: 16th FEB 2010

3. Ningbo >train> Hangzhou Train Station >taxi> Hangzhou Airport >and the same way back to Ningbo on the same day.
Proposed date: 20th February 2010

My concern is the above dates are within the Chunyun period, which is considered as the busiest time in the entire year for Chinese land transportation. How am I going to be affected in my above travel itinerary? Or should I change them?

The time from the end of Jan to the early Maich is the busiest time for chinese land transportation. It will be very difficult to buy tickests and it is very crowded on buses and trains.

I suggest that you'd better avoid the time of Chunyun.
