About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Hello I am a U.S citizen going to Hanoi from South Korea, but I will trasfer through Shanghai, Pudong for less than 24 hours. Do I need a chinese visa or anything to pass through China even if I am not staying very long?

You do not need a visa if you hold valid passports, visas for the onward countries, final destination tickets and have booked seats, and stay in Shanghai for less than 48 hours.
