About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

I'm a Canadian working on Jeju Island in South Korea, I already have flights/hotel/Great Wall tour booked for July 24th-29th. I have everything ready to apply for a Visa, but no way to get to the Chinese Consulate between 9-11:30 (Visa processing time) M-F this week.

So, my questions are:

1. If I send them everything, will a travel agency go to the Chinese Embassy in Seoul for me? &

2. Can I still get a Travel Visa for China with an Alien Registration Card that expires in October with this new rule?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

For foreigners in Korea, you have to find a travel agency (appointed by Chinese consulate) to apply for a visa to China for you. But, if your ARC is not valid for next 6 months, you can try to send your application with all the required documents back to Canada, let your family or friends help you with it, then send the visa to you. Do not tell the consulate that YOU ARE IN KOREA NOW.
