im from a tropical state in the usa and planning to go on a vacation on december.  i really want to visit the great wall of china.  is it a good idea to bring kids, old people and disabled during that time?  i've been wondering if we really need to hike up the mountains or can we just take a photo and get the wall of china on the background?

I think you'd better not bring kids, old people and disabled during that time as it is so cold in winter. The great Wall may covered with snow which will not easy to climb for kids,olds and disabled. If you have great interest in hiking up the mountain, you can have a try.
