About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Good evening!
Our class is planning for a trip to shanghai to visit the world expo 2010. It would be part of our subject course. I am just wondering if we need to apply for a visa? what visa would be appropriate?. in addition, can we push through to beijing and hong kong with our visa(if any)? thank you

yes, you need to apply for visa, you can apply for tourist visa, you can use the China tourist visa to go to Beijing, you can't use it to enter Hong Kong, but Filipinos are exempt from a visa to Hong Kong for up to 14 days.

Davao, the island of Mindanao is under the consular jurisdiction of China embassy in Manila, please go to Manila for China visa application.
