i am travelling from los angeles to guangzshou arriving at 6 30 amleaving for penang

I am travelling from Los Angeles to Guangzshou arriving at 6 30 am and leaving for Penang Malaysia at 5 or 6 in the evening on the same day. Are there hotels in the international transit areas that have sleeping and showering facilities for a partial day (like in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur airports).Do you know where they are located and the cost.  Thanks

Baiyun International Airport is located in the middle of nowhere. Only 1 hotel located across from the airport. Pullman Hotel, 5 star rated. Last time I inquired, they weren't accommodating.
