About:Shanghai Attractions

Hello, i will be in Beijing and Shanghai Nov 22 thru Dec 1, 2010. How far is Yiwu from Shanghai and how much would it cost me to travel there by taxi?

Also, if I am interested in hiring a tour guide/translator, where can I find such a person and how much would it cost per hour?

Thanks,
Rosalind

What about an interpreter/translator? Is there an agency that provide such services? Any idea of who much this would cost?

How much would a cab ride to Yiwu cost from Shanghai?

If a take a train, how quick will it get there? How much will it cost?

Thank you,
Roz

It is about three hours' drive. So, do not consider to take a taxi unless money is not a problem. I still sugget you use public transportation. Shanghai South Train Station has bullet trains to Yiwu, two hours. The cost is 97/116RMB.

Thanks again for all the information. I think its more practical for me to take the bullet train. I dare not pay $500 US dollars for a 2 hour drive. I wouldn't pay that here in the states. Thats unheard of! Thanks but no thanks.

USD500 is roundway rate, include toll fee.
If one person has not enough budget, taking a train suits well enough.
