About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

Hi,

I'm an American and I'm going to be entering China in December to take the Trans-Siberian Railroad from Beijing. I'll be entering China from Indonesia, but I'd like to get my Chinese visa at the Chinese Consulate in India - not Indonesia - in October. Is it okay to enter China from Indonesia, on a tourist visa that I bought in India?

Thanks!

It is Ok for you to enter China from Indonesia by holding a tourist visa obtained in India, the problem is that whether you can get a China tourist visa in India or not, Foreigners other than Indians should have valid Indian visas or valid Residence Permits in India.
