About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

Dear Mr.Alvin thank you for the reply.kindly advice me,this is a visit to see my friends who is living in hong kong ,it is not an official visit from my company.Are the documentation remains same.Thanking you.Yours truly.Ujitha Obeysekere.

the first 3 required documents are same, the other requirements are an invitation letter in which your friend (as the sponsor of you) agrees to provide financial support and accommodation, and one copy of the sponsor's HK ID.
