About:China Tourist Visa

hi im from phils i want to go for holiday in shanghai next month, and my friend told me that her previous travel agency told her that you need to have a Ph 300,000.00 in your bank account.is this true?and how much is the minimum amount in our bank acct if we are going to get a a L VISA or a tourist visa only.thanks!

If you come to China for the first time, you are required to provide the original bank certificate with receipt or original passbook, updated within the month. I don't know the minimum amount. But I know personal appearance is required for those who are 16-21 years old.
