About:Chinese Consulate in Chicago

Hello,
I am a US citizen and will be traveling to Chicago to apply for a tourist visa. At what time should I arrive at the Consulate if I want to obtain my visa in the same day (rush service). Are the lines long in the morning, I read that if the passport is in before 11am it will be available for pickup same day by 2 pm, is this true?

yes, if you want to pick up your visa on the same day, the application should be submitted before 11:00 a.m., it could be picked up at 2:00pm on the same day. The extra $30/visa will be charged.
